XF 1.5 Remove a tag from the tag cloud

Can someone please tell me how to remove a tag from the tag cloud?

If a tag is orphaned, due to the thread/media being delted, then it's pointyless having the tag still there.

Is there a way I can remove these orphaned tags?

If the content is hard deleted, the tag will be removed.

If it is soft deleted, the tag will remain but will be set to be not visible.

I'm talking about tags that are visible , but when you click on them you get a message "no results found"

I need to remove these as they lead nowhere, but are visible to all members.

If they are tags whose content was soft deleted, how would I find that content? I would presume with admin privileges, clicking on the tag would lead to the soft deleted content, but I get "n results found" so it must be hard deletyed, but with tags still present.

The tag management page in the ACP will allow you to see how many times each tag has been used and when it was last used.

Clicking on it will load a page of search results.

Any entries with a 0 count can be deleted.
