XF 2.2 Registration loop

Any ideas why Xenforo might loop the registration without creating an account?

Unsure when this activity started as I left it unattended.

Loop how?

If it's some sort of redirection loop then that will be due to something set on the server.

It keeps going back to /register.

I disabled all add ons with this code and it still loops back to the /register page
$config['enableListeners'] = false;

This can be caused basically by your server configuration. For example, page cache on nginx level can cause this behaviour.

This is something that I looked into as well. Caching is turned off and it has the same settings as forums on the same server that are working.
