XF 2.1 Redirect after posting - feature or bug?

I'm trying to determine if a behavior is a feature or a bug.

Let's say we have a 4 page thread and a user submits a quote/reply to a message on page 2. Where is the user supposed to land after the reload.

Currently, the page refreshes a post or two before the end of the thread, on the last page. Is that correct? Doesn't seem like it would be.

It should land on the last page because of it just being posted.

Okay, so after posting, the page refresh should take the user to his own post, at the end of the thread. Got it.
