Lack of interest Recycle Bin for Posts

I renamed a node.

I got distracted by something, maybe cat videos, I dunno.

I deleted that node by accident, because I forgot I renamed it and meant to delete a different node that was similar.

3k posts gone and my silly self is still looking for my backup DB...

So yeah, if we delete posts, could they maybe go into a hidden recyle bin for 24-48 hours, and then are purged for good?

This gives us a quick moment to realize we goofed and fix it.

Sounds like a drastic mistake. (Hope you find that backup! ♥) This could also serve as a double save and prevent a forum being deleted in seconds when permissions get in the wrong hands.

i always create my own and i put all the closed threads in it. it's usually for the longish threads!
would love an add on of some kind so that we don't have to create an extra board.
