Recommended PHP Settings?

When I make a post on xenforo.com website, the messages post instantly. When I post on my site, there is sometimes a delay (long and short). Do you have any recommended settings in PHP that might speed things up. I am using a CDN now, and I have set the the other optimizations shown in "Settings".

There isn't really a single thing as there are a lot of variables at play. It could even be related to how you send mail (if you send via an external SMTP provider). It could be MySQL optimization, server load, or even network factors.

Thanks for answering back, Mike. I will take a look at the email handling, because I noticed the emaisl are not being sent out for some reason.
