XF 1.5 rebuild attachment (not thumbnail) after bulk manual image resizing

Hi guys

i have 50GB of images in internal-data/attachment folder and i want to save server disk space.
i resize the attachments using windows resizer (fast-stone image)
-rename .data to .jpg
-resize all images to 800x600
-rename back .jpg to .data

my question is:
once i reuploaded the .data file attachments in internal-data folder

How can i rebuild the attachments (not thumbnail) to fix the attachments pictures ?

I believe there are add ons which handle resizing images and rebuilding the data automatically.

You should never directly modify any files or data created by XF. Such a rebuild doesn't exist and you should restore the files from a back up.
