Real names instead of usernames

I've searched around, but can't find an answer... thanks in advance for your help!

Is there a quick solution to have the user's real name (as captured in a custom user field) displayed throughout the forum instead of their username?

No, this isn't really ever going to be a quick solution.

One thing that might help is that the usernames at XenForo are quite flexible by default. They accept spaces etc. So you could just change the phrase "Name" to be "Full Name" and then police incoming registrations for appropriate use.
