ranks

I know it is a strange question but how do you remove ranks
I read this help topic https://xenforo.com/community/threa...e-rookie-normal-member-well-known-etc.157504/ but it doesnt cover removing the ranks (so they are no longer visible, new member, Admin, the whole lot need removing )
