I have at least two xenforo-related reasons why I turn on my PC these days since I got a Macbook Pro.

1. Play around with my Xammp installation of Xenforo

2. Look for old Xenforo addons, namely anything ragtek.

An issue that got me checking why a new style I created I set as "no user selection" and wondering why I couldn't see, or select it from the the style chooser. Spent an hour or so trying to figure out the issue, checking templates, settings and generally baffled wondering why can't i view it or select it. Eventually found why, I was logged out. :facepalm:

I sympathise. I do things like that all the time. Especially when coding. It's a miracle I ever get anything done.

Doing some house cleaning and noticed there are some add-ons that I don't know what they do.... Wish developers would name things simply.... Xen123 does not tell me what it does.

The problem is the Searching. and the "nonsensical" categories.

To make things findable .. addon makers should stuff the titles with all the keywords.

The worst names have no spaces: microsupport microdownloads.

If you search the RM for downloads, you get garbage.
If you have a keener that title searches ... you still can't find it.

The search does need to be improved, but I shouldn't have to come here to figure out what an add-on does.

In cases like the above image "custom add-on 1" doesn't tell me what it does. Nor can I find it here.

Side note: This is not to pick on ragtek. I just picked this one at random... I have a few others like this as well from other developers. Wish people would properly name things so I can tell exactly what it is from looking at the name.

Obviously, I knew what it was when I installed it..... But after X time (years) .... Your memory may not be so clear about what exactly is "Y" that is installed.
