Customer just told me she didn't trust me because I look 'dark'. And instead of signing her credit card receipt on the table for me to see she signed it on her husbands back.... Gotta love working in 'high class' communities in a blue collar job.

*shrugs*
People are.... odd

That's racist!

Yeah she was just lucky I wasn't in a mood to deal with her ignorance.
I've argued with a lot of customers before over simple **** like this. So the write up a report and report me to the main office. The main office looks at it and is like "Seriously?" lol

Of course there's never any mention of how they look down on me because of color, weight, and or stereotyped income/lifestyle.
Some people just need a miracle lol.

Craaaap!!! That one modification I thought I'd never use it again, I now need it.

It was Kier's Replacement Modification.

I need to replace all instances of the phrase 'using Tapatalk' to 'using Deez Nuts'.

How can I do that?

I know it sounds dumb but I was searching for the tapatalk thread on my site and I realized that a ridiculous amount of threads on my site had that phrase 'Sent from my phone using Tapatalk from my blah blah blah' type of phrase. I disabled that crap at the tapatalk dashboard just now but it did not work so, now I just need to replace the old instances of that phrase. Already replaced future instances of it using the Censoring options.

Edit: Found it. Post Content Find / Replace - http://xenforo.com/community/threads/post-content-find-replace.6548/

Would be great if Kier added it to the Resource Manager.

I like BurgerKing hash browns more than McDonald's. To me BK's little round pucks are crunchier and tastier than McD's single toast. Tomorrow 6am be there. :D

I'm actually finding it harder to skin XenForo than it was vBulletin......even.... dare I say it.... IPB...... WTF?!

I'm just as surprised.

One thing vBulletin and even IPB had was a lot of style variables so switch things around. XenForo has them, but it seems limited and some of them don't seem to accept images.

I rarely use the style variables (style properties) myself. Extra.css especially for the navigation is your friend. Plus, working in the style properties I find takes far too much time when you need to keep switching to different pages and insert code into different boxes.

Extra.css is definetely going to work for you better than the style properties. Some parts you'll be best using but for most EXTRA is better and sometimes if not most necessary as stated above especially if your wanting to create a custom navbar, modify your profiles, style certain sideblocks differently etc.

After reading that I think I'm not so surprised because like me you probably want to style stuff extensively and the extra.css is better, plus you get work done faster with an array of other benefits.

Soran, Star Trek - Generations
The quote is older than the movie, but yes, part of it was in the movie.

Soran, Star Trek - Generations

Time is the fire in which we all burn.

Full quote, not from the movie

Time is the fire in which we all burn. Some of us slower and others of us fast, but we all do burn. For even those who believe themselves immortal, know not of their clock, but it too ticks and burns in time's indiscriminating flame.

I actually don't want to really customize the layout on the skin I'm trying to develop.... Just change the colors, but rather colors, I want some texture, which means images.

As I've not figured out all the CSS in XenForo .... I'd prefer not to attempt extra.css for this style....

This was suppose to be a quick and easy task. It's not like I even have that many photos (12 I think?).

I still think then that this will be a low maintenance style. Use the style properties for the areas that are supported within the style properties and then using EXTRA for the areas that are not supported by the style property system = 2 minute upgrades (i'm being generous) it'll be more like 30 seconds.

Out of curiosity, what are the areas you want to use these textured images in?

I'll send you pm... Maybe you can see what I'm missing

It's something I'd like to release for free for everyone :)

I asked this chick for her IP cause she was trying to send me something and it wasn't coming through. I needed to unblock it right...

She said 192.168.1.1

:/
Router IP Address :ROFLMAO:
