I've finally reached the point where I look at my old code and think "which brain-dead monkey wrote that?" It's nice knowing I'm not quite as awful at coding as I used to be.

Imagine doing that months later after you've handed off your code to another team (how my company works), looking into source control to ask the author why on Earth they'd do that only to realize it was you. I've done that 3 times in the last week.
