XF 2.1 Random Account Deletion?

Twice during the last few months now, I've received reports of user account deletions that didn't involve me. In both cases, the users re-registered but I didn't originally delete them. The most recent incident was apparently today. Someone emailed me asking why their account was deleted.

Might there be some kind of bug that occasionally deletes user accounts?

This certainly isn't something we've heard of. You can check the admin log to see if that sheds any light on it, though if it's done through an add-on of some sort, then it wouldn't be in the log. Unfortunately, without any sort of rhyme or reason, it will make determining the underlying cause almost impossible.
