Where is this sneaky icon is? I ve a hard time on trying to find it.
XF 1.2 QuickSearch, input[type=search] icon location?

It's not an XF file, if you're talking about the ones that appear inside the actual inputs.
They are completely browser dependent. Some browsers use them, some don't. But, whatever the icon is, is not a file on your web server and its done sort of browser artwork that can't be changed.
You can change the search type to text and that should get rid of the icon I think.

Thanks! Never used to work with this "search" type. I ve figured that I can remove these icons if i change the type of the field but thought that it was hidden as a custom jquery plugin. Have not tried to check this type in a custom document. My bad.
