XF 2.0 Question

Hello is it possible to import from 1.5 of xenforo to 2.x?

I answered this question for you when you messaged me yesterday.

There's only two ways to do what you want:

• Import old XF 1.5 into new XF 1.5 and then upgrade to the new installation to XF 2.0
• Upgrade the old XF 1.5 to XF 2.0. Then import that into a new XF 2.0 installation.

My recommended approach is this:

• Install a new copy of XF 1.5
• On that copy of XF 1.5, go to Tools > Import External Daa
• Select "XenForo" from the list of importers and configure it with the database details of the old XF 1.5 install.
• Once complete, you can now upgrade the new XF 1.5 to XF 2.0.

so it will work uploading xenforo 2.0.x files over 1.5.x
