XF 1.5 Question about transferring license

quick question here, The original forums that I purchased the software for is no longer up and running, and has not been for at least two years.

Is it possible to utilize the same liscense that I had for the original forums on a new forum? There would still only be one forum operating under the license

Yes, as long as you change th details of your license in your customer area.

Yes like Ozzy said you change need to change the URL details of your license in the customer area. Also to get support and updates it's only $40 for a year if yours has expired. So you'd be able to download the same version you had before it expired now but if you pay the $40 you can get Xenforo 2 and other updates as well as opposed to buying a new license for $140.
