Question about sidebar

I am trying to figure out how to increase space between sidebar .

See for example below all those box are too close i want to increase some space between them .

Style Properties -> Building Blocks -> Section

Change the margin to suit.

Where do we change the colors in the sidebar (the underlying gradient)?

Do you guys know if Kier plans to add a more detailed Sidebar styling options to the Style Properties? It's right now is the only element lacking good editing options in the Style Properties Editor.
