XF 1.5 Question about "Latest" thread on each node

Hi,

Let's say I have configured all my nodes to only display content from the last 3 months. Now I have a node called "Node1" that have a last post from October 2014. When I enter to that node I get the "There are no threads to display" message until I click on "Click here to display older threads".

However if I go to the parent node I still see the link to the lastest post from October 2014:



Is this normal? Or maybe that block should display nothing considering that the latest post exceeds the timeframe of 3 months set on the node config at the ACP.

Yes it's normal. The setting only pertains to the threads loaded in the thread list and is primarily implemented for performance reasons.
