Ok cheers, how to I get the Install app into the forum navigation menu so users do not have to go via the Chrome menu?

Ah yes if I go to my plain skin it appears, but not on my yellow one, is there anyway is can be added?

The yellow skin is actually the default skin for my forum though...

Yes the yellow theme is a child of the default

Your custom style is outdated if it doesn't appear.

Merge any outdated templates and/or revert and reapply customisations.

I have only Android devices but what happens in iOS? Does the option appear in the same places?

So having Tapatalk installed removed the install app option from the Chrome menu on a child theme. But is available on the parent theme navigation menu.
