XF 2.0 Pulling youtube video from rss?

You need to find the channel external ID from the page source. Try the link I just posted.
I think you are misunderstanding me or something, I already have that, the exact link I have in my original post. I can pull the feed fine but it does not embed the video in the post, only a link to the video.

I did, sorry. I was half responding to the other guy who posted asking about it.

The link only posting is an issue, and a problem I've requested get fixed in the other link I posted earlier, the suggestion to have them automatically get converted to embedded BB code when the feed is imported. It doesn't do that at the moment, and I agree it's frustrating.

yea you would think putting the following would work but it doesnt
Code:
[media=youtube]{content}[/media]

That's weird, I just imported a new youtube feed on a 2.0.2 site and all the video are now embedding automatically, I wonder if this has been implemented for 2.0 o_O

The feed uses the {link} tag.

I swear it wasn't working before as it looks like I had to manually edit them:

I had issues with my feed for the last few weeks because there was a bug with the Discord add on, and Snog's RSS filter interfering with the feeds. The discord bug was fixed and I just disabled the the the filter add on, which I was using to try and pull them all into the same thread instead of a new thread for each new video posted. Perhaps that was causing the issue.

No. Well, on the initial import I did, but then it seems no further videos were imported to the thread after that.

I kind of forgot about it as I've been busy, then checked today, saw nothing had come in, disabled Snog's add on, clicked import again and the latest 15 or so vids came straight in as new threads and with the videos embedded.

I've not got around to troubleshooting it yet or posting in the the relevant resource thread. It could still be an issue with Jaxel's discord add on, as the initial import was completely broken before his latest fix. I should really test with that disabled too.
