When we approve users using the Approval queue, when we click the Save button there is a quick drop down from the top of the screen which quickly displays:

Processing the approval queue...

This message displays so quickly that there's no time to read it.
 
There's not really a lot we can do about that. It disappears quickly because the approval queue actions you gave it were completed quickly. If you were to give it a lot more actions, it would display for longer then disappear and redirect after it is finished. It's just how it works.
