XF 2.0 Problem with showing ads

The ads won't show up they simply blink in white color. I am using code given by google and same ads are working on main website. I am currently testing this locally. Check attachments. Thanks

That's a Google issue.

Ads can take some time to be served on a new site/localhost.

You can confirm the ad placements are working by rendering coloured boxes or locally hosted test images.

Hey Brogan. I just tried place an ad on a main website where all other ads are serving but the issue is still present. It simply blinks white color and goes away. That's about it.

i have a similar issue on my board. some of the google ads do not appear on every page reload. either i see blank space or the ad space is just collapsed. but it does not seem to be a xenforo issue. i try out in other browsers where i am not logged in on the same google account and it usually works fine there. so check in other browsers. or incognito. it seems to be random behavior on my browsing session. also check if you have not enabled ad balance option in adsense backend. from my understanding, it is just google doing its thing. at best you can check the source code for the actual ad code and compare it with the ad code inserted in backend to see it is rendering properly. and also of course check any ad/script blocker that might be interfering with it. you can also ask your forum members to see if they are noticing a similar behavior. in my experience, the ad loading behavior has changed a lot in recent times.
