XF 1.5 problem with permission

I have a problem with the permissions of my forum. When I want to post a discussion in a closed forum I cannot while I am super-admin.
Can you help me?

Use the permissions analyzer to determine which user group permission is preventing posting privileges.

That assumes you haven't prevented posting in the forum using the node options.

If the forum is actually closed -- as in it's set to not allow new messages -- then not even admins can bypass that. If you want only admins to post in the forum, you should use permissions to restrict others' permission and then flip the forum option to allow new posts.
