Problem when using memcached

I have activated memcached on my managed server. According to my web host, the host name for using the service is "memcached". I have now added this entry to my config.php.

$config['cache']['enabled'] = true;
$config['cache']['sessions'] = true;
$config['cache']['config'] = [
    'server' => 'memcached'
];
$config['cache']['provider'] = 'Memcached';

As a result, my forum no longer works. What is my mistake?

Looks like it is your 'server' =>.
My config:

// MemCache
$config['cache']['enabled'] = true;
$config['cache']['sessions'] = true;
$config['cache']['config'] = [
    'server' => '127.0.0.1'
];
$config['cache']['provider'] = 'Memcached';

Is Memcached installed?


To check if it's caching:
[root@server ~]# telnet localhost 11211

Reply:

Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.

Command:
stats
