XF 2.0 Private replies to posts on a thread

I tried to search and didn't see an answer to this. Someone on my new XF 2.0 board asked whether there was a one-click way to respond to a post PRIVATELY (either by email or conversation), rather than (1) posting the message on the board publicly, or (2) copying the text, opening a conversation with the poster, and pasting the text.

I didn't see one, or if there was an add-on. (Which I don't yet know how to do, but need to learn, once I have a few that I figure out the community wants.)

Personally, I don't see a big need, but if there's something I'm missing ...

There is none as far as I am aware. I wish there was one, it would be pretty handy.

@Xon has an addon where you can copy the conversation to a thread, but I haven't seen anything the other way around, where one can copy a quote to a conversation. You need to do the old-fashioned way by copying and pasting it.

Maybe XF2.1 will solve it by clicking on "Share this post"
