XF 2.0 Privacy Question

I set profile view to nobody but guests can still see my posts ?
is this correct ?

They should still be able to see how many posts you have. Your details would be like your birthday and other crap.

I created a node not listed in the forum section to share bikini pics but any visitor can click on my messages and view the posts
that doesn't seem right. oh well .

That node is visible to guests so you just need to set the node/guest user group permissions and remove the View permission.

That should have been your first post so everyone knew what you were trying to accomplish. All you need to do is as Brogan suggested and set permissions on node correctly.
