Fixed Privacy Policy can't be accessed without re-accepting privacy policy first

Description
I've created a privacy policy as a thread in our Important Board Information forum, configured this as the privacy policy URL and requested users to re-accept the privacy policy.

Expected Result
Users do get an erroor message telling them that they have to accept the privacy policy which is linked from that message.
If they click the link, the privacy policy is being displayed.

Actual Result
They do get an error message stating that they have to accept the privavy policy with a link to that thread, but if the link is clicked the same error is being displayed again and the privacy policy can't be accessed.

There's nothing we can do about that, unfortunately.

We'd recommend using a help page or a page node which won't be blocked.

If that is the case I'll have to do it that with custom code

Anyway I'd appreciate if this was at least documented, could save you guys some support questions.

Actually don’t want to be too hasty here. It might be possible, in fact.

We are able to detect if the route path of the configured privacy/terms URL actually matches that of the route path being accessed in the current request and allow those pages to be viewable.
