XF 1.5 Preview bubble placement change?

A member of mine posted the following which I completely understand and agree with, as I like to work near the top of the screen as well.

When looking at any list of threads on the forum, hovering over any thread link but not clicking on it, a preview of the thread is displayed near the mouse.

Before the software change that display showed up below the mouse and the title. Now it's displaying it above the mouse and title.

Because I work top down, I keep the threads or what I'm looking at near the top of the screen. That preview display is now running off the top out of view, whereas before it was always in view below the mouse/thread title.

Is there a simple fix in the templates for this?

This is only controlled in the JS, so it would require direct code edits to change. (It's actually a potentially significant change.)
