Prevent thread(s) from being moved into certain nodes

Hello, first off I'll point out the problem.

We are using CTA Featured Threads which auto-promotes features when a thread is made (or moved) into a specified node. As anyone who has move thread permissions can move to any node they want, this sometimes lead to front page publications which we don't want. Sensibilization for our moderators could be an alternative, but I prefer having a more solid implementation. Someone knows how I can prevent this from happening or create an addon that prevents moving threads to a specified node unless you have the permissions to do so?

It could be prevented with a small edit to the code but you would have to reapply it every time you update FT.

Would you consider adding such functionality to CTA or you think it is a little too niche to be considered as a feature for an audience?

It would have to be something which was added to the core, rather than the add-on.
