XF 2.0 Prevent Line Insertion before BB Code

I'm currently fighting a rather strange bug with my table bb code. Whenever the text is rendered from BB Code to HTML, a new line is inserted right before the table block. Originally this behaviour also appeared after the table, but I got around this by using the trimAfter-option for the code. It still remains for the top however. Any idea how I could work around that issue? Video of the problem.

There isn't an option to do trimming before a tag, so generally, it's something you'd need to accept or consider whether there's another way to tackle the problem.

Ugh, I feared that. Do you have an idea where that line could come from?

I may have to see why more lines are being inserted, but a <br> being inserted is expected -- it's in the BB code via the line break before the table tag.
