According to this thread, appending prefix_id=num to an index.rss link would result in the rss feed filtering based on the prefix, just like the normal forum view.
However, this seems to have been broken, if you follow the example link given in the above thread, you'll find that it is not limiting results to only implemented suggestions in the rss feed, like the normal html view does.
