Closed on our house Thursday, had AT&T fibre installed Friday, moved this morning, set the PC up this afternoon.

It would have been faster but I was also downloading a Win 10 update at the same time as running the test.

lol...I altered those numbers in my graphic editor program. The correct download is 24.66, and the upload was 3.08

Paying for 110/10, here's what I get:

When I first got the upgrade, I wasn't getting anywhere near 120 Mbps. I was getting anywhere from 66-71 Mbps. Digging around, I found that my main router was the problem. I tried a few modifications that made only minor improvements, but then kicked up the CPU speed, overclocking it a bit, and I'm getting my full speed now. Yay DD-WRT.

Since one of my routers failed due to a power line fluctuation, I am looking into replacing everything with pro-level equipment. Router, switches, a WAP or two. I likely will also get a firewall appliance.

I'm with you, AT&T fiber came to the house a few weeks ago. AT&T finally delivers on a promise. Will wonders never cease?
