Fixed: Resolved an issue where creating a thread would count against both thread and post limits. Now thread creation and post replies are properly counted separately.

Hey there, nice add-on! Suggestion: Instead of per day, be able to set the number of days:

Maximum Threads Per [x] Days:

Maximum Posts Per [x] Days:

Use case (example): A certain group can only post 1 thread and 3 posts per 30 days in the promotional forum.

Does this add many queries? Also, can you set a limit for each forum area, or make it so that it does not apply in certain forums?

I have not test on xenforo 2.2 this plugin was built on xenforo 2.3

Would be nice if this were based around specific forums. So in each forum, you could set a maximum number of new threads per unit time. Hours would probably work best. And make it usergroup-dependent also.

Sure.

So daily limits to not exist anywhere, unless a moderator manually turns on, per selected thread.

So the idea would be the limit can be toggled on per thread, perhaps within thread mod options - example in the example below;




From the overview and screenshots, it didn't seem to have this option - I also couldnt test via the demo as it seems to be down.

Oh, now I understand. The current system only supports global settings for threads and replies. At the moment, it’s not possible to configure settings individually for specific posts or replies.
