Post Ratings - taking likes to the next level [Deleted]

Is there a way to hide post (or thread) that get a certain number of "-1" for example?
A sort of automoderation like youtube's comments system.
Same here. Is this possible?

And what about some limitation criterias for negative feedback? You know, right now anyone could just spam with those.

Otherwise, awesome work! Would buy it for sure.

Another suggestion I think would be worthwhile in implementing for those that will have a vast amount of icons to display and want to order them accordingly while they are all in full view which at the moment they are limited to each icon area setting and that's to have some kind of display order option in the icon display listings area? Screenshot really explains it and this would make it quicker, less time consuming if your managing icons and want them displayed in a certain order.

Am I the only one having a hard time understanding what that sentence actually means?

She means is there any chance of adding a display order on the main page - like shown in the image :D

Might add that yeah, in the mean time if you are confident in doing so there is no harm in editing the dark_postratings_ratings table directly and then going to the Ratings page (don't need to save anything just view the list) to refresh the cache.

I read it three times, but still struggling :)

Who's gandalf?

Struggling? You mean a feeble attempt in trolling? If you don't understand, a tip would be to look at the screenshot then the struggle to understand my beautifully crafted english being my primary language, language of choice would be a little less confusing. ;) Now I think before you go any further I think *removes avatar* january hissyfit aka look at the screenshot instead of trying. (y)

I think I understand :D but seriously, what does '*removes avatar* january hissyfit' means? Since english isn't my native language, please bear with me in my ignorance.

I suggest you stop, your really trying too hard and the fact you emphasizing my posts which you clearly understood only exposes your trolling, your feeble attempt at it. Since this is an add-on thread I think we can both set this aside and show the author a little more respect for his thread which so far is people posting in ways to improve upon his excellent script. Let it go. :)

To be fair... without the screenshot I would have struggled to understand it too. That was a super long sentence :p

/i'll get my coat

back on topic....

Pretty please? This would make it worth the money and a donation :D

What's your problem? I asked what you meant, related to your post about this addon. Since then, you have only been calling me names and telling me to stop trolling (!).

I asked a fair question, and you turned it off topic. Beats me :)

I guess you're in a bad mood or something, so I'll stop right here.

I'm not sure about this, but it seems if we disable Xenforo like system, the usergroup without permission to use the rating system, can't like a post, shouldn't this be the fallback to those usergroup even if the like system is disabled to those with the rating system permission?

It depends really, best solution would be group restrictions on ratings which will come at some point :)

well no, only hidden so if a user want to see it can do it with a click

...or maybe the user can set the thresold.
I once had a VB mod that did that using opacity. The worse the post rating was the less you saw of the post.
Or when a certain points threshold was reached the post was hidden but could be viewed by clicking a the one line message indicating the post was removed due to reaching the threshold. Just my 0.02
