XF 1.2 Post Edit Reason

One thing vBulletin actually got right was the post edit reason. It couldn't be more simple, a user or moderator clicks edit and a box pops up under the post being edited for you to enter a reason. The edit is then displayed like this at the bottom of the post.

Is there a way to enable this in XenForo?

There isn't an option to do this.

I made a suggestion about this. If you agree, you should like the first post.

Ease of use for the moderators, I suppose. There are a lot of things we could do manually, but which are implemented to make our lives easier. I also like the idea of requiring a reason for certain user groups when editing posts. There aren't many things vBulletin does better than XenForo, but this is one of them, and I'm very surprised it's not part of the core.
