XF 1.5 post counts off after merge

So the stats on the board say we have 1.9 million posts but the DB has a top 2.8 million # for the last post id. Is the post id the same as the post count that runs the number of "messages" counter?

Not that is is a huge deal but we normally give rewards to our 1 million # poster. So the guy that got the 1 millionth post got stuff and the 2 million will get stuff but per the db is seems that has already passed. Which one is correct and why is it off?

Did you run the Rebuild Caches after the conversion?

The post ID doesn't necessarily relate to the actual post number.

The value will be different if posts have been deleted.

OK, is their info in the DB that can give me a better count? I have deleted posts but not enough to get that big of a difference. I did create a new board and moved a bunch of threads and then deleted the forwards after a few weeks.
