The number of media items per page is controllable in Admin CP > Applications > Gallery Options, so effectively this is already implemented.

Admittedly, we could probably change it to 12 here, as that would work for pages with a sidebar where there is 3 per row and for pages without a sidebar where there is 4 per row.

So just change the per page value then, which is more a suggestion for this site, rather than the add-on.

That is configurable.

That's the first thing I did when I installed XMG and again when I upgraded to XFMG (as it reset the default to 9).

I think a default of 12 in future versions would be useful as it covers rows of 2, 3, 4 and 6 (12 is unlikely) which will likely suit most forums.
