XF 2.0 Photos & Videos on Xenforo

Hey guys, i was just wondering something, is there any way i can allow users to share photos and videos without uploading them to my xenforo forum? I mean, if i leave the general configs enabled won´t my forum become slow? I have a forum were people share a lot of videos and photos but i´m afraid ill have to upgrade my host plan and i dont really have the money right now. Can you help me with that?

Remove the permission related to attachments.

Members will still be able to embed images and videos from other sites.

In your admin panel, on the user group permissions for the user-group you want, change Upload attachments to posts to 'no'

If i do that they can still add an image through a link, that image will stay hosted in my forum or not?

Only if you have the image proxy enabled.

Otherwise it will just be linked from the remote server.
