I recently converted http://freepchelp.uk to xenforo 2 from vbulletin 5. I am getting reports from the members that old PM's are showing as unread. The count is always 10 and all of them are from a year or more prior.
I went back to the dev site where I did the test import and logged into the test account and sure enough read PM's from 2 years ago showed as unread. Counter showed 10 unread and they were scattered throughout the 200 or so that were in the inbox.
Maybe this is a bug.
