Permissions Problems

I am not sure if I am confusing myself with the permissions system in XF but I now have an admin account that cant see any edit post links within any of the forums. In the node perms I have them all set to allow for each forum for the admin usergroup and also all set to allow under the admin usergroup perms. Is there something I am missing or have done wrong or a setting I might have messed with and forgotten about?

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Nevermind, after checking the user account for the admin it was somehow set to Registered, changing to Administrative fixed it.
