XF 1.2 Permission Woes

I cannot see a forum on my index page - whereas my other admin and all the moderators can. I've exhausted my knowledge about how to troubleshoot this.

Have you used the permissions analyzer to determine why you can't see it?

I fixed it. I have no idea how but it's appearing for me and I didn't change any permissions in the last 20 minutes.

No I couldn't find the analyzer. I knoiw it exists because I've used it before but I cannot find it again where is it?
