Third party Paste clean up functions not working as expected on iOS

We recently fixed an issue that potentially affected unfurling URLs with iOS which happened because a HTML version of the link is pasted into the editor on iOS which then prevents that link unfurling.

While I can understand a URL in the middle of text needing to be on it 's own line in order to unfurl, it seems strange that if you only post a URL in a post it does not unfurl unless you hit return after the URL to trigger the multiple line.

We recently discovered that the issue has returned and it seems to have been caused by a regression in Froala. This has been reported to them and can be tracked here:

Although this issue is not currently fixed in the latest version of Froala, we have worked around the issue for the next release by reverting back to a more stable version of the editor. We'll monitor the outstanding issue and likely only consider an editor upgrade once the issue has been resolved.
