As designed Password Reset Request - Bounced Email

If an account is marked as "bounced", password reset request using password reset form still works for that account.

I think the system should not try to send email to an account which is already marked as bounced.

He can not login, so he can not try to correct his old email to a new working email.

Maybe a error message like "Please use contact us form to reset your password" should be better.

What do you think?

Thank you.

Well just because an email address is in a bounce state doesn't mean it's still not working, though that is likely the case. What you're suggesting would block that situation and I don't believe that's a worthwhile trade off.

If the bounce is hard bounce (the email does not exist), i don't think we should send message to that email address.
