XF 1.5 Password reset issue

We have moved our forum from our test site to our live site using Cpanel backup and restore. the users are unable to reset their passwords at log on. It comes up with a 505 error. However it did work on our test server. any suggestions for what we need to do ?

Is your test site and live site on the same box?

No. they are seperate godaddy servers

Hmmm. Anything in your .httacess file that would be causing it?

Is there anything in particular that we should be looking for in the HT Access. Unfortunately I am having to relay questions as my Admin does not have access to this part of xenforo as he is not an owner. he is much more IT savvy than me. I'll do my best.

You can log into the Customer Area and add his/her forum username to the "Forum users" page to associate with your license, then he/she can access this part of the site.
