Hi, is there anything i can do to increase a new XF forum page loading time?
What kind of server? Shared? Dedicated? VPS?
The single biggest performance boost is to install an opcode cache like APC. Just install APC into your PHP config:
No XenForo configuration is required.
You can go farther and implement a memory cache in the library/config.php file. APC can be used as a memory cache:
But an opcode cache is the big one.
Using a HG shared hosting for start now
I don't even know how i can install the APC you mentioned.
too much ////codes on that webpage
VPS are faster right?
On a shared server you have no control. Slow and inconsistent performance is normal for a shared server. You need a VPS or dedicated before you have control over your server configuration.
VPS isn't necessarily faster. Some virtual servers suffer from poor performance.
