Cannot reproduce Page Background Image Error

Whenever I try to replace my background image here I trigger this error, which makes no sense. I have tried 20 times and on try 3 it worked, but since then never again. Any help? The image I am using is 2.3mb. Does size effect this upload?

The error appears after I select the png upload from my comp

Not something I'm able to reproduce. Worth noting that all values on the page will be sent to the server on save, not just the one you've edited. Asset upload fields have no required elements. So it's likely something else on that page which is required. You have some custom style property categories there so it may well be coming from one of those.
