Fixed Overlay confirmation messages hard to read in certain situations

When scrolled to the top of the page, the solid colour of the nav menu makes it easy to read the confirmation message.

Once you scroll down and you have a light coloured background or have text behind the message, it's much harder to read the message as there's less contrast and the content behind the message clashes with the overlay.

I think increased opacity on the message background of the overlay would help.

I have made this slightly more opaque now, though we'd like to keep a little transparency. (We've also made it easier to customize via style properties.)
