XF 1.2 Ok to add overflow: hidden; css to bbCodeQuote?

We have MPU adverts in the first post. Text wraps fine, but I need to manage how other elements behave.
Is it ok to add overflow: hidden; to the bbCodeQuote css in order to make it not flow under the advert?
Or will that potentially break things elsewhere?

I use overflow:auto in Style Properties.

Nice tip, thanks Brogan. I see you have the same 1st post MPUs. Do you encounter any other problems like images getting in the way?
