XF 2.2 Number of forum displays in category homepage

How can I set the numbers of forum display in each category on the homepage.

For example if I create more than 10 forum in each category it should create new page 1, 2,.

I'm planning to create lot's of forums and I don't want all the forums to display on the homepage


Any advice will be appreciated?

Suggestion.. instead of "creating lots of forums" see if you can engage the use of prefixes.
As an example... I have one forum called Telescopes.
In that node I make extensive use of prefixes.

So instead of around 34 nodes, I simply have 1 with the following prefixes.



Which ends up with the node looking like this



In that node, you can click on any of the prefixes and ONLY see the ones related to it.

My forum situation and reason is very different from yours so what I'm looking is suitable for my forum.

This will hide the list from the homepage if they are sub-forums.

That won't hide forums which have the category as the parent, only sub forums of the parent forum.

It would require custom development to add pagination for categories.

Customisation to collapse the categories may be an option. Again that would require some form of custom development or a third party style which has that functionality.
