Notifier methods do not have access to notifyData

In some cases it would be quite useful if AbstractNotifier methods canNotify, sendEmail, sendAlert had access to the notification data that is returned from getDefaultNotifyData - unfortunately this is not the case.

Could this be changed so notifyData is either made available entirely via a protected class property or passed to those methods for the specific user?
