Can we implement better handling of notification defaults when managing users awaiting approval (i.e. triggered for suspected spam)?
Right now, the default setting is to notify the user by email, regardless of whether you are approving or rejecting his registration. For spam management, the best practice is not to send any email to spammers at all, so you should NOT be notifying a spammer by email if his registration is rejected.
The default notification setting should be as follows:
User approved - email dispatched
User rejected - no email
Nothing - nothing
